Android Development Lead

Burstly is seeking an Android Development Lead to make an immediate impact with our largest partners. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with some of the largest app developers on Android related projects and assist in the technical implementation of the Burstly SDK into their apps. The ideal candidate has an understanding of the Android SDK, is a quick learner and problem solver, and has excellent communication skills.

We are an innovative mobile startup that builds monetization tools for app developers. Our offices are located on the 3rd St Promenade in beachfront Santa Monica, CA. The founders have sold previous startups to MTVN/Viacom and Uproar/ Vivendi Universal. Our team consists of over 15 people and we range from surfers to chess wizards to scotch connoisseurs. We are a hard working team in a non-stop environment that occasionally catches their breath. We are experiencing explosive growth along with our partners, who are some of the premier apps on the iPhone and Android markets. Responsibilities:

• Directly interact with industry leading mobile app developers to assist in onboarding to the Burstly platform.
• Manage all aspects of client engagement, including collecting requirements information for integration into roadmap, building and maintaining documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Work cross-functionally with internal and external developer leads to ensure that individual needs are met. Report regularly on engagement status.
• Build a knowledge base of each client’s business, organization, and objectives.
• Keep track of lessons learned and share lessons with team members.
• Recommend and implement tools to assist the above, to better track integration and results.
• Gain intimate knowledge of Burstly Client SDK and effectively communicate best integration practices to partners

Requirements: 

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related field
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Teamwork, diplomacy, and client management abilities.
• Meticulously organized, detail oriented, and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Own and regularly use apps for either iPhone or Android
• 2+ years in software development.

Assets:
Experience in mobile, gaming, and/or media industries.
Familiarity with iOS, Android, and associated technologies.
